Rubin Bakery
Rubin Bakery started its operations in 1993. The company is 100% Hungarian owned.
After a few months, the company was able to increase its market presence. The range of bakery products, which started with just 16 varieties, grew to nearly 100 within a few years.
After a few more years, the size of the Rubin hotel was no longer able to cope with the increased demand from customers.
Since 2005, Rubin Bakery Ltd. has been operating in the traditional bakery building built in 1939, which it now owns, with an enlarged fleet of machines, after renovation of the interior and exterior.
The fresh produce factory of Rubin Bakery Ltd. has retained its artisanal character to this day, with a range of products that no other company in the country produces.
These include traditional, but innovative products (e.g. grape seed flour) are also available.
The fruit fillings used in fresh pastries are also made in-house, using high quality frozen and fresh ingredients.
The products are made without preservatives and artificial colours, and the breads are made with natural leaven. The bakery serves its customers with a near-continuous production, with three fresh deliveries a day.
Most of the company's production is made up of savoury and sweet puff pastry products.
In the new plant, we will keep the traditional values of the fresh bakery, but we will mechanise several manual production steps. This will allow the new plant to produce filled pastries, which are currently part of our bakery range, up to the semi-finished product stage, with a quality comparable to that of hand production, in addition to the filled pastry bags. They will be delivered to our partners frozen, with quick freezing and the highest food safety and food quality standards developed by our experts. Our food production plant has an EU approval number, meeting the highest food safety requirements.
